Does anyone let their pet chicken sleep in their house at night in a cage?

I let my chicken sleep in the house at night in a cage. when it starts to get dark she comes to the back door and makes her chicken noises to let me know she’s wanting in. I think its so cute. Then when it’s morning I put her outside, she stays outside all day until night time.

I had a Rhode Island Red as a child who did come inside.
we had a rooster that we let sleep in the house one night.. it was a bad idea. it was coka-doodle-doing almost all night!
My boyfriend had a pet chicken….it thought it was a dog (he had a dog when he got the ***** and it followed the dog around). We brought it in every night to keep it safe from predators. When it was full grown, we donated it to a petting zoo. Chickens are cool!
yeah. his names rompy. his cage is actually a very large dog kennel. he likes pooping in it. hes cute. one time, he got out and pooped on my sister in her sleep. it was REALLY funny. lol.

Yes, during the winter. I have three. Spit, Spat, and Spot. They sleep in plastic food crates with straw.
No, but when it gets cold out I bring my chickens inside until it warms up again…so sometimes they spend a few days inside. That’s not fun because I get woken up at 5 am by crowing. LOL!
