Look online for plans. With 3 chickens, you should not need too large a house. They need protection from the weather and any predators in your area. Food and water are also needed. Free ranging is nice, unless you have neighborhood dogs running loose. I got all my lumber free from construction sites.

there’s some ideas for you…. several plans… just make it safe, dry and cleanable…. if it can be portable, that’s even better!… chickens love that green grass to chase bugs in!….
I DO know that they need to roost on the same level………….they also need a run of course which is safe.
