They do not need a very big house but you need to get new wood to make it safe as possible a good six would be 4x6 and should cost under $500 and because your getting chickens you need to build nesting box 1x1 will be fine you could use your scrap wood for the nesting boxes</description>

Get chicken wire but make sure to dig in the ground about 2ft so that way other animals can&#039;t dig and get under the fence at your chickens. You might even want to double up the chicken wire so it&#039;s not easily broken. Use all your scrap would to make it tight and hard to push over. It&#039;s really hard to describe how to do something... google it and you can probably find instructions and photos for ideas.</description>
